Contemporary Security Canada selected for security screening at Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games
Economy to get boost from Canadian Security Companies Hiring Thousands of Screeners
VANCOUVER, BC – April 16, 2009 – Contemporary Security Canada (CSC) was selected today by Public Works and Government Services Canada and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) to provide security screening services for the upcoming Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Vancouver and Whistler, British Columbia.
CSC’s successful bid was prepared by an integrated team of local and international experts and includes: Contemporary International Canada, a major event security company with experience in six past Olympic Games, Aeroguard Security Ltd, Canada’s leading airport security screening company and United Protection Security Group Inc., one of Western Canada’s fastest growing security firms.
CSC team members stated, “We’re proud to bring our extensive experience in security to this important assignment. Not only are we ideally suited, we will be contributing to the economic and employment opportunities here in BC with the hiring of an estimated 5000 people for the 2010 Games.
